Hotel Riviera

The staff were really kind and helpful and rushed around to clean our room so that we could check-in early, having arrived on the train from Corte. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and there was a lift up to our room on the 3rd floor. It was an 8-10 minute walk from the train station, a 5 minute walk to the ferry port terminal and a 2 minute walk to restaurants, Tourist Information and the little tourist train that takes you up into the citadel and old town. Also opposite the tourist information, you can catch a little blue bus to the beaches just North of Bastia. We found a lovely sea front restaurant along the promenade called Zephyr.

Close to ferry and plaza full of restaurants. Short walk to train station. Light airy room with a balcony overlooking a children's park and a bus station.

The woman on the reception was very helpful and friendly the second time we have been here. She offered us a different room because there was no Wi-Fi working on the third floor. Everything worked well after we moved to the second floor. It is in a good location because it is very close to the ferry’s ⛴ We had to try this hotel once again. Last time some things were broken in the room but that was because some guests don’t use it well. This time we were satisfied. Everything was working and there was no sock on the ground 👍 as I was commenting the last time. -> Dobby left. Fell free to come and check it out on your own.

Very central location, easy for exploring Bastia. Also quite close to the port, so ferry trips are convenient. We didn't spend too much time in the accommodation itself. The room was quite basic, but with all you need for an overnight stay. Not a spectacular accommodation, but nothing to strongly complain about. It was cheaper than all the other options around.

The receptionist didn't speak English at all but we managed nicely. The room was clean, a lot of space, hot water in the shower, superb location, not too noisy at night.
